The RSS Access Site program offers individuals the freedom to choose their service provider and acts as the individual’s advocate, resolving any disputes between individuals and RSS Providers.
The Recovery Support Service (RSS) Access Site program is a collaborative effort between recovery support providers and other community based supports designed to meet the unique recovery needs of individuals with substance use disorders. Recovery support programs offer individuals recovery support services such as care coordination, spiritual and group counseling, life skills training, recovery coaching, recovery housing, and transportation assistance. These services can be offered before, during, after, or independent of substance use disorder treatment provided by a certified organization. These services are offered in a variety of settings including, but not limited to community support groups, faith-based organizations, and peer recovery groups. Recovery support programs are person-centered and allow individuals the opportunity to direct their own recovery process.
RSS Access Sites screen, evaluate, approve, and issue recovery support service vouchers to department-approved RSS Providers. These vouchers enable RSS providers to help Missouri residents aged 18 and older who are dealing with substance use disorders.
