Meet Ryan

In Recovery Since 8/16/2017
After twenty years in the world of heavy substance use, Ryan Pascale is now almost six years into her journey of long-term recovery. She spent nearly ten years in and out of treatment. She lost custody of her children and almost lost her life to overdose at least once or twice. In 2017 she was finally ready to learn a new way of living. She went on to become a graduate of the Greene County Drug Court Program and Higher Ground Recovery Center. In 2018, Ryan began her work at the same treatment that helped to save her life, Higher Ground, where she went on to earn her CADC. Ryan now oversees the Higher Ground Recovery Housing program and serves as the Treatment Coordinator. She has re-established relationships with her children and is now single mom. She has learned to enjoy all that life has to offer including becoming a full-time college student while juggling her career and motherhood. She has a passion for helping others that struggle with substance use and a heart for making everyone feel welcome at Higher Ground. She hopes that she can use her position to encourage everyone she comes across to jump headfirst into a new way of life. She is adamant that God saved her life by placing her in a treatment program that reflects His grace, mercy, and love. She takes no credit and gives God all the glory for making her a walking miracle.
