In Recovery Since 6/7/2021

Hi! My name is Jess, and I’m 34. I was heavily addicted to Narcotics for 7 years! I was going down a rough path and lost my daughter, Never thought I stood a chance at getting her back, 7 years later, she reached out to me, I met her in the park, and she went from being this little 8 year old girl to being taller than me and 15! That day she said she needed me, and wanted me to get her back, THAT DAY was the last time I did drugs! I worked and worked, got a place of my own, out of town, got a good job, and I got custody of her back 10 months later, after a long battle with the courts! Now she just turned 17 and things are still going great! I still have a long road ahead of me, and there are still some bad days, but there is one thing I know for sure... My WORST DAY in recovery, is still 100 TIMES BETTER, than my BEST DAY in active addiction! Chasing my Recovery like I chased my high!! Life is Beautiful! We do recover!
