Jamie Martin

Jamie E. Martin, a 6th generation Columbia, Missouri native, has studied Criminal Justice at Columbia College and Bachelors in Social Work at Lincoln University. She has served as housing manager and Executive Director of a sober living programs where she assisted in the process of accrediting their first several houses with the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR). She was on the board of founding members of The Reentry Opportunity Center (The ROC) and the Central Missouri Recovery Coalition (CMRC), both in Columbia, Missouri. Jamie pursues training possibilities whenever possible to expand her understanding of substance use.
She has seen her community ebb and flow over the years and is intrigued by the resources that have come available to the recovery community. She has spent the last 12+ years of her life involving herself with the recovery community and the evolution of recovery supportive services. Jamie has a true passion for people and looks forward to continued education and helping with new and existing opportunities for recovery providers.
Jamie currently serves as leadership and secretary on the executive committee of CMRC, an affiliate of MCRSP. She also works with survivors of human trafficking and works on the program development committee for the Stop Human Trafficking Coalition of Central Missouri.
Jamie joined MCRSP in August 2022 as the Director of Training and Technical Assistance. She uses this position to learn and grow as she walks alongside other providers helping them to get the resources they need to continue recovery supportive services and best practices.
